Hi girls – bit off topic but I need a moan :(. I’m 10 days post op and healing nicely, then my husband and little boy decide to share their tonsillitis with me. I’m in bed, shivering, can’t swallow and I can’t even curl up under the duvet cos I’m still lying on my bloody back! Also, was supposed to move house yesterday but buyers messing around so no idea what’s happening there. Bad times! lol! Xx

Oh my god! Just stay in bed for as long as possible, recuperating. Drink plenty of fresh orange and tea with honey for your throat. Hope you feel better soon. x

Aw Chrissy what a shame, you certainly have it all going on just now… new boobs, new house and now you’re poorly. Keep your chin up hun, all worth it in the end. Kids love to share their bugs, my 3yr old brings all sorts from from nursery. Hope you get well soon & happy healing. xx

Thanks girls – not usually such a baby but it’s hit me like a bus! Think it must be because of added stress and the fact that my body was already trying to recover from op x

Right up there with ya Susie, totally agree, milk it for as much as you can! Kids, dont you just love them? They bleed you dry, they suck you dry, they have a fantastic ability of making you feel guilty for wanting the smallest window of a bit of life and they slap you in the face with all the bugs they give you. Remind me, why do we do it? Oh yeah they give us unconditional love. You’ll feel better tomorrow, chin up doll X

Hi girls – once again thanks for the support – and you did make me giggle as rough as I was feeling! Thankfully I’m feeling a lot better today – which is just as well as I had to go to Cardiff today for post op. Stitches out, healing well and scars are tiny! Fingers crossed the house sorts itself out on tues and if it doesn’t – well at least I have fab boobs!x
