Possible CC Mya requesting scan through GP

Hi wonder if anyone could give me advice, I had my BA 5 years ago and think I have CC in my right breast, I’ve spoken to MYA and they’ve said the next step is to get a referral for a scan through my gp! Has anyone else had to do this, feel like my gp and hospital aren’t going to be happy that I’m requesting a scan for a cosmetic problem, which is understandable. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and had scan through their gp.

@cutiepie they may do it but I’m pretty sure they would charge you for this. Why is MYA not arranging this for you? (I’m not with MYA so I’m unsure how they work) xx

@katie No idea why they can’t do it? Unless they just don’t have facilities to scan. I had CC 6 month after my BA and I didn’t have to get a scan then.. you can tell by looking and feeling it that it’s cc it’s around £200 for a private scan which I can’t afford x
