Hi I was just wondering if anyone had experienced similar …
I haven’t posted on here since I had my breasts enlarged almost 7 years ago now , I had 505 cc LP under muscle . For about a year or so now Iv had a lump in my left breast which I recent got checked at the breast clinic and was given an ultrasound and was told it was my implant rippling through my muscle … now I’m having a major issue with my right breast starting a week and half ago I had muscular pain didn’t think much of it but struggled to sleep on that side that night , the next day my breast hurt more and started feeling really firm , fast forward a week and two doctors appointment ( was given antibiotics and was told it’s more than likely ruptured and to call surgeon ) my breast tissue is ROCK hard all the way up into my armpit and right round the side , completely different size and shape to my other breast. Literally looks like Iv had one massive new implant . Extremely painful I struggle to sleep altogether , when laid on my back it feels like I have a weight crushing me and it’s pulled so tight . I have an appointment with the surgeon who performed my breast op tomorrow. I’m hoping for removal and re implant but can anyone tell me what they think is going on ?? My minds going crazy and yet again I can’t sleep. Sorry for long post wanted to give as much info as poss. Thankyou ..xx

Hun I really feel for you I had my implants 5.5 years ago and loved them but at my 6 weeks po I told them my right wernt sitting right and we’re slight soffeeemt shape but they said it’s normal at this stage so o believed it were. 8 months ago I finally plucked up the courage to go and see myas nurse who referred me to my surgeon and he confirmed what I thought capsular contracture,it’s taken months to get the go ahead for revision surgery but I now have my op on the 27th November.
I hope you manage to get sorted hun xxx

Hi sorry for late reply I don’t really check in. How did your operation go? Well I hope. What did they do for you? Iv had mine confirmed my right implant is completely ruptured and aparantly one of the worst they’ve seen the silicone is everywhere! I have a feeling my left is as it’s empty but that may be because I’m now used to my massive right breast, the swelling has gone down a bit but it’s still very hard and maybe 2-3 cup sizes bigger than the other. I’m booked in for complete removal tomorrow and I was absolutely gutted to find out I have to wait minimum of three months before I can have new implants put in so I’m really anxious about how I’ll look and feel after tomorrow . Xxx

Hi.. I have capsular contracture 8 years post op. So uncomfortable isn’t it. Can I ask why you need to wait 3 months for new ones put it in? I think they removed and replaced in same surgery.. is it going to cost more for removal then complete op? What is the overall cost? I am considering re-aug myself!
