Hey everyone I had an uplift with implants 350cc on Monday (5DPO) I’m just wondering when I’ll be allowed to properly put my own hair up. At the moment I’m scared I’ll disturb the healing process so I haven’t been able to tie it back in a ponytail yet

I’m Day 9 post-op implants and uplift. I was told two weeks., and then just stretch very gently with your arms upwards. Avoid any sudden movements.

Should be ok just take your time and move gently.ive been building up to it by doing gentle movements and using my arms more. First few days I felt like I was moving like a robot.
Can I ask if you’ve had your dressings changed yet? I went today and out of all the whole process it’s the thing that I cried at. Nurse was lovely but I had so much tape on and was really annoyed to find my stitches weren’t dissolvable as Id thought! Dreading going back now 🙁
Ah okay I’ll start working my way up to it now then. Thank you 😊 I have had them changed but my surgeon used a jelly like substance so it didn’t hurt to take them off at all I never felt it. I didn’t find out about the stitches though😂
Oh that sounds much better! I’ll defintely put that on my review as a must! I Day 10 today and managed a bath and put my hair up without any help! Took it nice and slow. I also got a call from nurse I’m seeing Saturday to reassure me about stitches. I have to say I’m feeling 100% better than I’d anticipated and thrilled with results so far.
What about you? Happy with sizing etc?
I’ve managed to put my hair in a very low pony tail tonight not hug enough to get in a bun though but still a few days before that’s needed. I also managed a shallow bath today. I’m very happy with sizing but at the moment they are uneven 😂I’ve been told this is completely normal so I’m trusting the healing process 😂
Oh well done! Little by little it’ll become easier! I’m Day 11 and I feel really good today. I’m so thrilled with the size/shape etc….just wish I could get this adhesive tape residue off 🤣
Roll on Saturday and stitches coming out 😀
