post op 36B Size 10 5ft5 now 36D with 525cc overs wanted DD – heres my story

hey ladies,

Just thought this may help some of you that are making decison with sizing etc. I wanted to go from a 36B to a DD. I had good shape B but tissue spare at the front so Dr C recommend 460 or 525 overs. He was advising that 460 would probably be best although with my frame i could get away with bigger.

On the morning of the appointment and after a discussion with him and my partner i decided to take the chance and go for the bigger one which with people on here they have ended up large E-F cups. I thought to save disappointment I would go for the bigger one……

After the op i was strapped up in bandages like my new puppies werent going anywhere. they looked huge in the bandages….but the next morning when the highgate nurse removed them she said i was a perfect C-D cup……….

my heart sank…..when Dr C came in to make sure i was ok i confirmed that he defo put 525cc in and didnt have any complications….he said all was fine, my skin looked great and i should be really happy.

all i can recommend is defo go with the bigger size if you have a choice of two because i still havent reached the size i wanted even though i went bigger…..

Has this happened to anyone else? is anyone else disappointed? i do love them as they look so natural but so disappointed with the size. 🙄

yeah I think is always better to go a bigger size!

I am just so shocked that people smaller naturally have had smaller implants and have ended up bigger…..i cant work out how it works… xx

Yeah you see it works like this with measurements…alot is to do with the backsize for example I had 560cc and measure at 28G cos i’m so tiny those implants were the biggest I could have they are litrally wider than me ahah

But a 28G is the same in the cup as a 30FF, 32F, 34E, 36DD ect..but obvously the back is bigger. the bigger the back size you go down a cupsize which is why generally people who are smaller end up measuring a bigger size even with small implants!

I have the decision of this cobination (I have one bigger than the other)

540/615 or 615/700

hi sorry your not happy Hun. I don’t understand how that’s happened as I was 32a, had 300 unders and I now range from 30dd/32dd/32e! mad how implants are different for different people xx

like rachieboo says her 28g is the same as a 36dd they may fluff a little and end up bigger than they r now.

the nurse may think they look a c but u could measure a dd implants always measure a lot bigger than thry look.xxx

hey rachel, thanks babe it is so weird and i am a bit heart broken, i thought overs are normally bigger anyway and people with the same back size as me with same implant and stuff ended up massive compared to me. even my nurse was surprised how small they have turned out as when i tried them on and did the rice test I filled a 36DD sports bra and a 34E M&S sports bra but now i dont had to get a macom bra instead. xx

Aw how strange usually it’s the backsize that makes them different they could still fluff as both my ba’s I had overs and after the first few months they got bigger! x

hey rachieboo, really??? that has cheered me up a little as i was told with overs you dont fluff. I was wondering whether my skin will stretch and let them get a little bigger as they still feel quite tight rachieboo can i send you a pic of my new puppies and see what you think? sorry to ask but i am the first out of my friendship group to have a boob job and they are not really sure about the size etc… xx

cheers rach, yeah i did only have the size down from you but look nothing like yours or anyone that had the same stats. I am trying to find someone else that had Dr C to see if they start off liike this because of all the compression and banadging and then fluff out cause my boobs dont even look the size of them implant….it doesnt make sense hunny. xx

it is really wierd how some girls have very large implants but end up only c-d?? i had 340cc overs, from a 34b and uplift and now i measure a 32f. I was first measured as a 34dd-32e, but over the year they have got bigger. I can def hold more than a handful, they are so natural. Maybe it is to do with how big your back is etc, but im a 32 to a 34 back,and size 12 and 10 half stone so im not petite or owt?? X

I would just give it more time… Let them settle.

Need to give them time for the lower pole to drop & then they will project forward more & will be bigger.

hey janey, yeah i thought it was all to do with back size etc but there is a girl that is the same/similar stats to me and she has only got a DD cup from 410s and we had the same surgeon. I am a Size 10 and weigh 9 1/2 stone, I was a 34-36B now wearing a 34D M&S sports bra. but my right boob is a C and doesnt fill this sports bra as swelling has gone

I asked my nurse to confirm with Dr C as was getting very worried as all the ladies i have spoken to have said that 525 defo should be at least a DD and he said he did 525cc over high profile in. We think my skin might need time to stretch so just going to wait and see. They have asked me to keep a photo diary and we are going to review them in Feb to see if i need a re-op. fingers crossed that do get bigger and settle.

some good news…… my skin feels like it has sunburn which means it is stretching…..fingers crossed this means that they will get bigger as my right boob is only a C at the moe and it is making me feel like poo . xx

Hi hun yeah got ur pics thanks alot its really helped me.. im just worried if i go bigger i will end up an E cup and think this may be too big for me?! Arghhhh! Will see wot Dr Adamo says at my next consultation! Will let u no how i get on! Cheers babe! xx

OMG ladies I seem to have shrunk even more today…..dont even fit in a 34D sports bra…its baggy on me….anyone else go through this with 525s? xx
