Post Op Appointment with Surgeon?

Hi ladies,

I’m nearly 8 weeks post op. When I went to my 6 week post op appointment the nurse (at Mya) said I am now discharged and won’t need to come back for any check ups.

I assumed I would have a 12 week post op appointment with my surgeon.

Did anyone else see their surgeon after surgery or were you just discharged after 6 weeks?

Hi, I asked my nurse about this yesterday. I had a 1 week appointment with the nurse, a 6 week appointment with the nurse, a 6 week appointment with my surgeon (although my appointment will be at 9 weeks) and then another appointment with the surgeon at 6 months or 12 months. The nurse said this final appointment is up to us to decide as and when we need it. Hope this helps x
