    Hi lovely Mya ladies,

well its finally January which means i’m having my op in 22 days now! Wooohooooo wish it would hurry up and come. I have finally got round to getting a post op bra and trying to do research but so confused.

Do I have to get a Macom? I know Mya recommend but you don’t NEED one do you? I’ve heard Royce silver post op are really good too and they’re slightly cheaper so thinking of getting one of those. But now i’m confused about size :(.

At my pre op the nurse said i should get medium Macom but on the website it says medium = 34 back. I’m currently 34 but everyone says this increases post op so should i get a large?

Also I’m currently an empty 34b after breastfeeding and getting 460cc, what size sports bra/Royce bra should I buy? i was thinking 36E -anyone else had similar stats/implant size who can recommend?

Thanks all! Getting so nervous and excited, feel like I’ve got so much to do!

Any tips/ recommendations will be so helpful. Thanks! x

if u get a macom u only have to worry about the band size as they stretch to the cup size, so one less worry and u only need a larger band size for first couple of days coz of the swelling, or so i think xx

Hey Hun! I got a Royce silver post op bra, press studs up the front & has silver init to aid healing. It’s comfy as hell I still wear it for bed! It was £27 n worth every penny! I found the macom really tight n uncomfy. I also had a cheap sports bra from tesco which was ok too xxx

Oh & I was measured at a 34/36dd pre op, I had an uplift with 380s, she told me to buy a 36 f, which I did & fits fine, I’m now a 34g xxx

i have a question about this. i am really confused!

before my op i was a 34gg – had an uplift so was told id lose a couple of cup sizes, probably be around an f.

i bought a 36f total support from m&s, thinking a back size bigger would be more comfy… but it wouldnt go anywhere near me!! the nurse said my back is probably swollen abit as well. so now i’m wearing a 40 (!!!!!!) dd, same style, and the cups are still abit too big.

now im worried that it’s not supporting me at all and there’s no point even wearing it haha. i can tell it’s too big cos it doesnt sit straight across my back. but the 36 was so tight, i skipped a 38! ha.

AND i need to get a different type of bra anyway cos im going back to work next week and these total support things are really high and ppl will think omg why is she wearing such an ugly bra!

so to sum that up…im a 34 back, but somehow currently wearing a flippin 40, and i need some suggestions!

    cheers :)
