Post op bra question

Hi girls,

I know we cant wear underwired until after 6 week check but does anyone know if we can wear padded nom wired? I’ve just bought some and am nearly 4 weeks PO! Xx

as long as there is no under wire im sure you’ll be fine, its the under wire that can hinder you incision healing so i would have though you could wear a padded non wired bra xx

I was told to wear my sports bra for 6 weeks,but I did have an uplift so probably needed the extra support,but every ones instructions are different,check with your nurse honey,xxx

im sure its sports or macom bra for six weeks as they are more for the support then comfort and look xx

Thanks girls, well my Surgeon said its up to me if I even wear a bra or not so I didnt even wear one much in the first week, so I was guessing from that that support isnt all that important but not sure if the padding may hinder the recovery or not!?! I imagine its just light padding, I ordered them online but havent see them yet xxxx
