So I’m just over 4 weeks post op and the swelling seems to have completely gone, I feel pretty healed but I know that there’s still changes going on. I was told by 6 weeks I could go get measured for my new size and the size wouldn’t change much after that. However, I was out shopping for the kids school uniform today and decided to get measured whilst in m&s as the sports bra I’m wearing feels too tight (32c). The lady said I was definitely wearing the wrong size and she said I’m a 32D but to get a 32DD if I wanted a push up. Obviously I know I have to stick to the sports bra for now but just out of curiosity tried a push up, they don’t sit right at all.. I’m wondering if this is because they haven’t dropped yet as the lady in the shop seems to think they won’t drop and said that implants just don’t fill bras right.. I was really disheartened by this as I’ve seen women wearing some lovely bras on here after surgery and she basically told me that them kind will never fit as well with ‘fake boobs’ I’m just wondering when anyone else was able to wear pretty/push up bras? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 🙂 xxx

Are your boobs soft after 4 weeks? I’m 8dpo and mine haven’t really stopped being like rocks 🙁 but if by 4 weeks they might be that’s great news haha!

I am nearly 5 weeks post op like you I couldn’t wait and got measured today. I measured 32dd in Victoria secrets. I had 295cc and 32a beforehand. I alsi didn’t like the padded bras in the felt very uncomfortable. My surgeron advised that I needed to wear recovery bra for 6 weeks, the lady in shop said to wear wireless for a little while. X

She’s talking crap, don’t listen to it. Some of the women in M&S seem to have issues with boob jobs so they feed you rubbish like that.
You just need to try on loads of different bras and shapes and see whats right for you. Like mine look great in a plunge bra but weird in a balconette bra.
I’d recommended Bravissimo to get measured when you hit 6 weeks and also Boux Avenue.
