post op girlies is what i am experiencing normal!!!

hey ladies had my boobs on friday 3 days post op and my boobs are aching real bad i feel like some one is constantly giving me a bear hug and wont let go

i have backache

my nipples are like bullets

and they are shiney and constantly feel as though i am sticking my chest out

i have no numbness and can feel everything

when i laugh it hurts and when i take a deep breath

my boob around my armpits realy ache

i feel as though my boobs my boobs are growing

i have no pain just a bad ache

is the above normal girls

I am going through pretty much the same feelings as listed above, minus the numbness and laughing bit,…(Esp finding the last 3 points very familiar today!!!!!)

Would be interesting to see what the response is from other girls on here, but it all sounds pretty ‘normal’.

I suggest if your worried – call the nurse, she should be able to advise you

thanks tweetiebird i hope what im going through goes away soon im usually an active person but im not at the mo and i have been told to not wear a bra as i have bandages but when i wear my tops my nipples stick out its so embarrassing im walking around topless and my lil girl keeps saying to me boobies boobies x x x

Im sure your absolutely fine chicken!!! My daughter told her ‘grown ups’ at preschool that ‘Mummy had an operation on her boobies – they are big and fat now’,…wonderful!!! Can imagine the questions when I take her to ballet on weds!!!!

I am 2 weeks post op and still feel a little fragile, every day is a day closer to full recovery, we’re all different and heal at different speeds, just dont let it get you down!!! I have had some ‘post op blues’, know another couple of girls on here that have too, its all pretty normal, the emotional rollercoaster!!
