post op girls 6weeks over:

just wondering if any of you had a problem wer the stitchs hadnt disolved properly and caused a tiny open wound? im 7wks post op n need to keep going bk for dressings now. been told its nothing to worry about, but u cnt help but worry can u! nurse also wants surgeon to have a look too xx

hey hun i had problems with my scars until 5weeks p/o. i had an allergic reaction to the stitches and my wounds wouldnt close properly. im sure nikki had a bit rawness at around 6wks hun, maybe she will reply xx hope u get better soon xx

thanks hun im jus worried cos al seemed fine up until about 2wks ago then it kept bleeding n stuff (sorry tmi!) so now have to keep dressings on & jus doesnt seem 2 want to heal, iv not got an infection in it tho. thers 2 jus above each uva, i thought at 7wks id be bk in normal bras, go swimming, sunbeds but nope cos of this im stuk in a rut still! hope mr traynor can shed sum light on this! cudnt get in with him 4 anuva 2wks xx

honest hun i had this problem too. i seen the nurse 5 times in my first two weeks my scars were awful i would post pics of them then and now (17wks) but i dont wanna scare people and make them worried.

mine eventually gave up the fight and healed. mr traynor may re stitch them thats what i was gonna have to get done.

i changed to eating loads of veg plenty water and fresh orange to see if that would help me heal.

do u smoke?? xxx

i had this hun, fairy is right, dont worry at al about it, i had it at 3 separate times, 5 weeks,6 weeks and 8 weeks each time a small thread came away leaving a red sore tiny hole, which i kept covered for a day or two then it disapeared on its own, honestly it will heal up fine mine did each time xx

aww rly that makes me feel better.. its horrible isnt it! 1 boobs totally fine & healing g8 its the uva 1! i had uplift with 380 unders. nope i dnt smoke, but iv got a 10mth old so as u can imagine its hardwork & from 3 wks i was bk liftin her agin n bein fulltime mum! not rly much choice if i need to be restitched do i get put bk 2 sleep again n feel horrid again 4 ages?xx did urz jus heel on ther own then?xx

ye mine healed fine didnt do anything to it at all, if anything the loose stitch was stoping it from healing properly so glad it came out, the nurse even said i could still wear bras so if she was worried she would have told me not too xx

thanks nikki, yeah thats wot its like but iv had this now for like 3weeks & its jus not closing iv had the seaweed dressings on now iv got the iodine 1s on. jus rly hope its fixed so i can go on hol in a few wks id be gutted!!xx

ye she said i cud of wore normal bras too but because of the place wer it is it wud of just caught the underwire of the bra! well least i know im not the only 1 & urs is fine now thnx hun xx
