POST OP GIRLS..SWIMMING ADVICE!!

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT TO GO SWIMMING? IM ONLY 3WEEKS PO AND WANT TO TAKE HIM SWIMMING THE WEEKEND?? X

I’d ask your nurse hun. I think the normal time is after 6 weeks – but it will depend on how your healing is xx

its six weeks hun, after you have had the all clear. getting the incisions wet prolongs the healing. i know you can shower and stuff from the nurses say so, but its keeping them wet that can cause problems, and with the chlorine in the water, might cause more problems (just like no purfumed soaps etc) xx
