how long have u a ll left it before u start driving again? its drving me insane (excuse the pun lol) staying indoors and already i can do so much more. feel loads better but can i drive yet???

hi louisa,i started driving on the 5th day after my ba.i did not hav a choice but if u do then rest for as long as u can but i think the doc said that u can start driving after a week.

Hi Lousia, i started driving at 8 days, but it was only a 5 min drive to and back from work. I wouldn’t have wanted to drive very far. Depends how you’re feeling, as long as you would feel able to do an emergency stop! Which thinking about it, wouldn’t have been good at the time :shocked: xx

hi louisa! :bigsmile: i need to drive on monday as i’m going back to work then. i’m 6 days post op now. i’m going to go for a quick ‘test drive’ though on sunday to make sure i feel comfortable driving. xxx

hiya i started driving for 1st time properly today, i’m 2 weeks post op, tried a couple of days ago and just didnt feel comfortable at all….
think it differs with everyone, and it really is down to how you feel, drive to the end of the road when you feel up to it to test yourself, you will soon know whether your ready to start driving or not, i wasnt! lol x x

hello!!! i had mine done 10 days ago i still havent drove since, i dont feel confident so i dont think i should go back on the round as im not the best of drivers lol!!! they do say 7 days tho! xxx

You should be fine hun, just take it easy. Actually the first time i got back in the drivers seat and put my hands on the wheel, i could feel my boobs rubbing on my arms :crazy: had never had that before, and it felt great! Let us know how you get on xx
