Hi girls just a few issues, Had my op yesterday with dr adamo, 375 xhp unders but Iam having a major issue. Dr Adamo told me not to even bother wearing a post op bra like the Macom bra or even a breast band. Obviously I want my boobs to start dropping asap as they sitting slightly high and I just want them to drop and like more fuller! Has anyone else had Dr adamo or anyone else tell you not to wear anything on your boobs during recovery, because from what I’m aware everyone wears these bras after surgery.

Yes he tells everyone not to wear a bra, i’ve got my op with him on 13th June and i was told the same thing, and i know other girls on here who had their op with him were told the same thing too. x

    Congrats hun!! :)

He told me that too (got my op on 11th July), he said I can wear one if I really want, but said there is absolutely no need!! I was stressing as well, cause everyone wears them!! I think I will see how it goes and maybe only sleep in it for my own peace of mind!!

    xx

thats what I was thinking, Just sleep in it for my own piece of mind but still it seems as though dr adamos advise to not wear a bra is in the minority. But because I’ve got unders maybe he has a point???

I am having overs and he said that to me… Been chatting to quite a few girls on here and there are quite a few surgeons who say no sports bra!! It makes sense that not wearing one will help them to drop, but at the same time I think im just really worried that not wearing one will undo all the effects of surgery!! (silly I know – im just a bit paranoid!! lol)

    xx

Meln, i feel like that too, am sort of half thinking about sleeping in one at least or wearing one for half the day and then taking it off for the other half but he is clearly the expert and when i questioned him about it he said all that wearing a bra night and day does is give you spots on your chest and irritate your skin! Can i add you girls so we can compare mr A’s work? xx

I don’t wear any and think it is so much better. Just the breast band but also quite loose. My surgeon explained that a bra rather pushes them up and hinders them dropping which absolutely makes sense to me and always preferred bra less anyway. I am about to upload new pic, not many changes from yesterday.
