Post op Ladies advice pls.

Hi Ladies. Im 2 days post op had 460 overs (was a 34b/c). I know I’m still swollen but im scared I went too big. How much is the difference in size after the swelling goes down, and roughly how long will it be before all the swelling has reduced?

I really hope I dont regret my decision but at the moment I feel like I miss my old boobs. Did anyone else feel like this? I really wish I could fast forward the healing process so I can see how big they will actually be. I know its still early days for me but Im worried.

….any words of wisdom?

hi ya, dont worry hun about the size yet, i went down a whole cup size after two weeks due to swelling. but unlike you, i was gutted, lol, try not to worry yet tho, youve got lots of changes to come xx

lol, I feel a bit better now, thanks mizzpink. Its just such a big change I hope they do shrink a cup or so.

hi selinab, i thinks its way too early to judge 2 days post op im 6 days post op and mine are a really funny shape really high up top and flat cause the muscle is squashing it so i cant even see what size i am …. did u get unders or overs as that is big factor

hi selinab, well i’m one year post op now! I had 380cc overs and was a 34b. I went into a 36dd sports bra, and am now wearing 34e

They started dropping slightly at around 2 weeks, and continue to drop and soften over the first couple of months. They pushed together quite easily by 4 weeks. Hope this helps a bit, enjoy your new boobies x

hi Lila I had overs. Im 3 days now and they have gone down a bit, and theyre not as high up. I think I was panicing a bit as I didnt want to be TOO large, Im sure once they settle down fully I’ll be happy, fingers crossed.

Tammy lol now I feel like im gona be like a J cup or summink as I had more CC’s than you 😯 I know Dr Adamo is a good surgeon so I guess I have to trust him and wait till Im all healed before I can make my mind up about them.

they will take a few weeks to settle i had 410 unders and im only 5’3 8 stone but they seem to be perfect size for my frame i think they look smaller when there in you as i thought they might be too big im sure your just looking down and panicking depends on how tiny your frame is

hi jmurray its been great to be honest definatly had discomfort and pressure for 4 days but after that its been normal can pull tops over my head reach for things pick up my baby i suppose it all depends on the individual, im 9 days post op now and 3 days ago i got very sensitive nipples which is horrid hope this goes, otherwise they still feel very hard and tender i still have a lot of dropping to do but generally all is fine …no pain thankfully…xx

also mya tell u its ok to have little nap in the days following surgery but important to walk about and try and be as normal as possible for someone taking it easy that is but i think if girls take to their beds post op thats why they get very stiff so take it easy but move around …i did go to my room each day for about 2 hrs and rested but otherwise i stayed up and about i would not advise shoping ,and i also had ear surgery on day 5 i had to travel to mya to get dressings off on my own two trains tube ect and i was fine,,, ull be fine too oh but must say u will have constipation which really got me down i took senna it did nothing on day 5 nurse suggested glycerine supposetries they worked and i was fine by day 7 ..also introduce food slowly u wont feel hungry i didnt but its important to eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water to get things back to normal i wasnt eating enough as i was so swollen in tummy i felt uncomfotable but would have been better if id eaten some veg salad of fibre so really hope this all helps good luck ,oh and no one told me bout weird shaped boobs after op with unders so that was shock muscle holds implant tight can take up to 2 months to drop so they sit high but u can hide this with clothes and they will drop i go to gym a lot so mine sat higher yours may be fine,ok think iv told u all good luck missey u will love your new additions….xxx

I think I will have the same approach – resting a few hours but still wandering around up and about if possible. I’m a nightmare patient according to my boyfriend – i won’t sit still for more than 10 minutes haha

That’s good to hear you managed public transport on your own two, awesome!

Not looking forward to the constipation, I remember from last time I had an operation (wasn’t cosmetic surgery that time) but at least there’s laxatives i guess!

I go to the gym quite a bit too so I guess it will take a while to drop but definitely want unders. I can’t wait!!!

Ah mate, don’t be worrying. I got 460’s too 3 weeks ago and I love my new twins!!! They were really swollen for about 4/5 days then they started to shape nicely. I could send you my boob diary if you haven’t seen it already!! ha! Have you took any photo’s? I’m wearing 36f atm which sounds massive but honestly they’re lush. Love your new boobies matey!!! xx
