Hi girls, I’m almost 4 months post op, I love my boobs but my scars are still quite dark, like a maroon/brown colour, my skin colour is olive. Am I super abnormal? It doesn’t bother me TOO much as they’re well hidden in the crease but I’d rather that they weren’t there. I know everyone scars differently but it seems to be taking extra long with me, I’ve seen pics at 4 weeks post op and the scars almost invisible! Is there anyone else like me? I hope they fade soon, they freak my boyfriend out too lol bless him, the wuss. I’ve been using silicone scar sheets and bio oil since 5 weeks post op (I have a break from the scar sheets some days and substitute with bio oil) I’m going to stop using the scar sheets at 4 months post op as they work best during the healing period and I think I’m past that now.

I’ve got darker skin too Khanni and Mr T told me that my scars would be dark but so far they’re not (I’m 9 wks post-op tmrw) so I would say that ur normal if that’s what he expected from me.Don’t worry, they’ll probably be less noticable with time xx

I’m 7 months now and only in the past month, my scars have gone silver – I put it down to the fact I was wearing very padded push up bras that were possibly irritating as I’ve now bought new bras and stopped with those sort and they’ve settled loads.. could just be coincidence though. :)

Thanks girls, Tina that’s exactly how I feel like someones drawn a line under my breast. Mr T did say it May be a year before I see an improvement due to the fact that darker skin scars different. I REALLY hope they fade, I guess I’m just stressing myself out thinking what if they never fade.

Vikki, I don’t mind the add at all hunn :) I was a C now I’m an E with 345/385 cc inspira responsives. My breasts were uneven to begin with, I decided I didn’t want an uplift so they’re still a little uneven but I’m very happy with them. If anything I would have gone a little bigger lol

    xx
