Post op nose!

Hi,

I know this might sound silly but i have no idea what i want my post op nose to be like, i have seen that some of you found pics of noses you like and then showed them to the surgeon.. but I just want a bump removed and then maybe have my nose a bit smaller but my main concern is that it still suits my face..

I am seeing mr gonschoir tomorow so do you think its best if I bring some pictures or decide if I want a slope or straight nose… or will he give me ideas of what he thinks i should have?

He will give you ideas of what he thinks will look nice but he wants to do what you want chick so he will listen to you first xx

I was in the exact same position, I couldnt decide between a slight slope or a straight nose…. basically wanted my bump removing. Dr G said I had a good tip now, but I was worried that the tip might look big with my new nose!!If u have an iphone there is an app on there where u can morph ur nose… i used this loooooaddddss and decided on a picture i really liked… so from going to a slight slope, it actually turned out I liked a straight nose better (its pretty hard when u dont really know the difference lol) So i showed them to Dr G which he agreed a straight nose would look more natural (its also easier for him to do as a slope will make the tip bigger so you might have to get that done, he can narrow it slightly doing closed rhino with a striaght nose) hope thta helps xxx

That’s exactly what I’m worried about! My tip dosent really bother me at all now but I’m worried with the bump removed my nose will be too long and will look stupid.. And also I’m not sure a slope will suit my face and I do really want it to look as natural as possible! Yeh iv got an iPhone babe what’s the app called? Will have a look on that tonight cos seeing him tomoro!! Really curious to know what he’s gonna say!

I agreed on a straight nose at first but now I’ve changed my mind to a slight slope x

The app is called dr solomon… i was saying to Sascia, if you put like plastic suergery or nose job in the search it should come up! Yeah its tough isnt it, i dont want to end up with a Tashie from Big brother nose lol!! xx

I wanted a slight slope but I have gone for straight as Mr G advised that a slope may make my tip look bulbous even though he took some off the tip too. I think he will advise on the best for you and your features and I must say, my new nose goes with my face and I am sure yours will too. It gets smaller all the time too… xxx

oo i asked for a slight slope only because i think it suit my face, i think it depends on your whole face all together, i only say slope for mine as i got quite a small head/face lol kind of babyish face so straight might just look abit woohh for me but dunnno,but im abit worried because i dont want it to go into a piggyshape nose at the end i did tell him this tho but i trust him, he done lauren googder and kirk from only way is essex theres look good and everyone elses on here so i trust him! x x x

I wanted Katies nose too…but i didnt show him any pics or anything, as i wanted something that would look right on my face, so i basically told him what i didnt like and just let him do what he thought was best lol xx

I put all my faith into Dr G, he is the specialist after all ask him for his opinions if your not sure xx

Yep i def dont want the tip of my nose turned up at the end so will make sure i tell him that, as i like the way it is now just think it might have to be a bit smaller once the bump is off. Love Lauren Goodgers nose its looks soo good and really suits her and looks natural and as you sed everyother pic iv seen all look really good so im happy to trust his judgement!

Yeh Katies nose is really nice, but think it would be too small on me but dont know if i think that just cos im used to having a larger nose! Too confusing lol! xx

He said that a really little nose would not suit me as my features are big kinda, so I just gave him the pic I made which was pic 1 in my album I think so I just said something like that please. I was so frightened on the day, I would have said just do whatever you like…lol…nothing to be scared of though really easy and best thing I’ve done in life interms of my appearance for sure!…xxx

I wasnt sure either between a staight nose of a slope, mine is quite slopey I think though which looks exactly like the picture I edited and gave to dr G he done an excellent job and I love my little slope bit at the end its cute

he got rid of the bump in my nose I didnt really ever say I wanted it alot smalled but just getting rid of the bump made my nose look so much smaller and I think it looks like i’ve always had this nose now xx

Meg I love your nose! Ours were very similar! I ende up printing a pic of yours to take on the day, I bet Mario thought I was a cheeky get cos I was like dr g did this girls nose this is what I want! Lol xx

I had my appt with Dr Gonschior on Tuesday, and I went without a clue what I wanted! I wish I’d have read this before!

I was just like ‘I dont want it to be as pointy and big and i want the bump gone!’

I looked at his portfolio and couldnt choose between a straight nose and slope, i like them both and I’m not too sure which one will suit my face – really dont want to end up looking like jodie marsh!

Yeh I was like that when I went to see him but since then iv thought alot more about it and I know what I want now and seen some examples so going back for a second consultation on the 10 december!!! It scared me the thought of not seeing him again before my op on the 9th Feb!! I want a slight slope and bump gone and the tip a bit shorter!! Have you got a date for your op yet? xxx

i wish i could go back for a second consultation, but i cant get the time off work it takes a whole day for me to get down to London.. so ive just gotta keep my fingers crossed that ill get a chat with him before my op to show him some pics that ive found!

My ops on 13th Feb! so not long after yours, we’re gonna be goin through the same sorts of things at the same time!

Yeh yours is just after mine!!! Dont it feel like ages away… but yeh wel both be going through it same time!!

Aw really.. well yeh you will be able to talk to him before the op again.. and let him know exactly what you want done, gives you a bit more time to think about how you want it to look aswel, cos i had no idea when i went to my consultation.. Iv just been trying to look for noses that i think will suit me but its quite hard without seeing them on your face ha!!

the pic i showed dr g was my profile pic of ashley olsen. i asked for a slight slope and to be narrowed and for the tip to be lifted a little. he has done exactly what i wanted and im very happy . good luck girlies who have ops coming up you wont regret it xx

i never showed him any photos on my consul. i just said what i want changed then i brought the photos in of katies nose on the day i cant believe how much my tip has changed even with the cast on love ittt xx

cant wait to get it off just so i can wash my face ha, im alot better today ta, iv uploaded some pics of today the bruising has gone down loads quite happy with the way everything is going atm. still got snot coming out tho gross lol xxx
