Hi ladies! I was just wondering if anyone can give me advice on a few things please.

First off, how long does the pain usually last for afterwards? I’m nearly a week after my operation now, and am still really sore!

How long do the squeaking/gurgling noises last for? I didn’t know about them beforehand, it really freaked me out when I first heard them!

Also, my boobs are real itchy near the incision sites, and the skin is just a little bit red at the bottom of each boob. They’re not bright red and swollen or anything, but I don’t know if that’s still something I should worry about and call the nurse?

How long is it until it’s comfortable to sleep on your side again? I accidentally did last night, and woke up and rolled back onto my back and it was agony!

    Thanks :)

hi hun! i felt totally pain free and comfortable at 2 weeks, but its different for everyone. i felt 95% back to my normal self and being able to do stuff like hoover etc at 4 weeks without feeling i was going to damage anything. The itching is normal hun, good sign that ur scars ar healing.

And i didnt sleep on my side 4 3 weeks, just because i was scared!! but it is ok to after 7-10 days my nurse said. hope it helps :) xx
