post op questions

I have my 1 week post op appointment today…
what do they actually do? i have no strapping for them to take off so do they just take off my plasters covering my scars? do they redress them or are they left then? and is there anything I should be checking or asking them when i go?

Hey hun,

Yes, the nurse will take your plasters off, give them a little wipe over to clean any blood off and then take some photos.

@spinnylady They will be left uncovered unless your nurse thinks they aren’t healing very well in which case she will cover them again. xxx
