post op questions???

Hi girls,
I firstly just want to say how amazing all you girlies are for your advice and support on here! you’ve really helped me not feel scared or nervous about having my op! so thank you so much!

I have my first consultation next monday but just wanted to get some first-hand experienced girls to answer a few questions of after you have the op, if you dont mind…
How long after the op did you feel fine to do normal things, like get dressed, lift things etc?
How long after op did you go back to work? – I work in retail and also am at uni, so dont know how long it will be until i’ll be fine to go back?
Also if theres any girls that were a small 34A and became a D/DD, can you please let me know what stats you had?!

hi i am one week post op today.i felt in a bit of pain under my arms and around at my back on day 2 and 3 and after that it has just been slightly uncomfy.gettng dressed wasnt too bad,its just hard to put things over your head as you cant really lift your arms.i dont work but have 2 children so i have still had to do the odd small thing in the house.they say to take a week away from work and try to take it easy for couple of weeks after thatbecause everything is knitting together and if you do anything too strenuous you could tear something.i got 750 off,they just told me a couple of dates that were free and they wanted to fill and i picked the one i wanted.i could have had an overnight stay but its more expensive for an overnight stay and its all the same anyway.if your a day case,you will be operated on in the morning but if your overnight your last on the list so your sittng waiting all day which is hard because you havnt eatn but ovio if you live far away its the best.good luck,hope this helps

I had my op nearly 4 months ago! I had overs, and didn’t have any pain at all, it was just discomfort. The main thing you’ll notice is not being able to lift your arms up too far (i bought several zip up fronts tops, and tops with poppers which were a god send). I had a check up at 7 days, and my scars were healing nicely. I drove at 8 days (not too far) and went back to work at 8 days too (office job).

I was a small 36B and had 380 hp overs, and now 36DD :bigsmile: Good luck xx

hey lisa, im 2 days post op and i feel totally normal. Only my stomach muscles hurt and my hip joints put i have no probs raisin my arms above my head or anythin. Im tryin to take it easy but i dont feel anythin really at all. I was a very flat 34a (just nipple really!) and had 380cc unders i think ill be a D. i had an overnight stay and my op was at 8am so i wasnt last on the list and didnt have to wait around all day without food. I think it jus depends. Mr Kazzazi only does overnight stays so obviously he does morning lists as well as afternoons. I think everyone is different xx

Im 3 weeks post op today, i went from a 34a/b to a 34f with 460 overs.
I had no pain at all really (just a heavy/tight feeling) for the first 3/4 days. Then i think as all the drugs started wearing off it started hurting for a few days and my nipples became really really sensitive to everything, was a nightmare.lol They went back to normal about two days ago! I got dressed properly on day 4 by properly i mean in a non zip up top!
I went back to work after two weeks but because im a police officer im doing office based work for another few weeks yet!
I got 800 off the total of mine, i got a late booking slot-about 2 weeks after my consultation. I had to have an overnight stay because i suffer from high blood pressure so i paid in total 3650.
Your PA will go through absolutely everything with you, and the only thing i will say is trust your surgeon with regards to what size you go for, they really know what they are talking about.
