    Hi girls,
If you have had strapping, have you slept in your Macom too? It feels a bit restrictive but I’m not sure if I’ve got to keep it on.

I can imagine. I’m pre op so not 100% but thought you had to keep the bra on all day/night for 6 weeks. Hope you have a speedy recovery and manage to sleep well. I’m a front sleeper, I’m going to struggle post op. Xx

@jessica2930 In the advice slip it says I can keep strapping on without bra for 7 days (up till post op strapping removal) but I’m not sure whether the rest have followed that. I’m a front sleeper too and I’ve gotta admit it’s really horrible having to sleep on your back! xx

I’ve got strapping and sleep in my bra too but you’re definitely right, at times it feels like it’s causing the pain. Only 2 more days until my post op & I get all this off. Never been so excited my back is killing!

Doh! I thought you didn’t need the bra while the strapping was on, I haven’t been wearing it!

I had strapping and didn’t wear a sports bra. My strapping was supportive enough 🙂 xo

Morning Hayley, hope you managed to sleep. How are you feeling? Maybe ring the nurse to double check today. I think I’ll be sleeping on the sofa for the first few nights post op, there’s no way I’ll be able to sleep sat up in bed. Xx

Hi girls my pc and me kazzazi told me You don’t need your bra whilst strapping is on it offers all the support you need and a bra on top may run and put pressure on incisions. If in doubt ring your nurse x

Hi girls, thanks for the advice. I have and I’ve been told that whilst my strapping is on I don’t need my bra. It’s just an extra precaution that some girls feel more secure with it on. I’m so glad I don’t have to wear both!! I felt like I was suffocating! xx @amy03 @jessica2930 @beakysbird @chloed94

Hi hun, hope you’re healing nicely, I had my strapping on for 5 days and didn’t wear a sports bra until they took the strapping off (you take it with you on your first PO appt). A nurse at the Fitzroy advised me this was fine and also the leaflet they send you home with states that if you have strapping you don’t have to wear a sports bra over it x

@alicelbaker Thank you. I’ve just read through that leaflet and it does say on there. Silly me, I should’ve read it properly! Thanks for getting back to me 🙂 xx
