POST OP TODAY – all went well and strips removed :)

had my post op check today – according to the nurse everything is fine i was worried as my right is alot bigger than left and thought there may be some fluid in there but she said no there isnt and its just alot more swollen still as im right handed. she also removed my strips so my scars are out.. they look very neat (well done mr adamo you ledge!) and also said i can now drive! WOPPPPEEEEEEEEE! theyr a little smaller than i expected but i am very pleased! bought some new (non wired bras which are quite nice) ill be adding 6 day PO pics in about half hour xx p.s feel SO much better today, the last 5 days were hell! xx

Aw that’s good hun, I had mine removed today too. Have u been told your allowed to shower now? I was but wasn’t sure if I was allowed to use soap near the scars or not. Think I’m gna just let water run over them for few days and see how it goes. What did the nurse say to you? XxX

hi char. luckily i was aloud to shower from day 1 as mr adamo used waterproof strips but the nurse said we can use gentle soap around them but best to just use water for a few weeks. so im gunna do that too! hope ur pleased with em hun.xx

yeh they look ok to be honest! very neat! my left one looks absolutly amazing, but my right looks a bit wrinkly but i think thats just coz of the way the strip was gripping my skin, what about yours!? u happy?xxx

ahhh im scared to see mine hehe im in today to see the nurse charli to get mine removed did them beasty plaster hurt when they came off mine look like there glued on lol. Im not looking forward to having them off my stitches feel so tight at the min.
