post opp girls – is this normal?

hi girls i had 380 overs 18 days ago. love the result and shape so far but…. yesterday when i lift my arms above my head i could kind of feeling the implant grazing when i moved my arms up and down. today when i am walking around i can feel it grazing again, like moving up and down (sorry bad discription but hard to explain) is this normal and the implant just settling in to shape? should i be worried? xx

Yes, perfectly normal – you may even get the odd squelching… yak! Lol x

yes thats the word squelching haha. but when im walking its almost squelching and rubbing with my stride? is that normal? when does it stop? oh could u also tell me when its comfortable to sleep on my side? sorry million questions xx

Ye, i’d reckon so.. it happened to me and I was told to expect it – i’ve been sleeping on my side for about 2 weeks, i’m 9 weeks post op so roughly 7 weeks’ish.. xx

has the moving around now stopped for you? ah ok got a while longer on my back then. i do try my side but only last 10-15mins on each side then have to go back to my back xx

hey hunny, yeah that is normal, it didnt stop until 3 week post op for me. you cant sleep on your side until you have been told by your nurse at your 2 week post op appt.

i am 6 week post op and still feel weird sleeping on my side and end up sleeping on my back. i am also wearing a bed bra to look after them and reduce stretch marks xx

hey hun, thanks for tips. im gonna sleept in my sports bra forever just to look after them like u say. i found one stretch mark today, only had 380 so not to bad. think bio oil with reduce it but dont think i can use that til 6 weeks x

North3c whats a bed bra? i just wear a sports bra 24/7 my nurse told me i could sleep on my side after my 1week appt but it not comfey so sleep on my back x

Sara – I used cocoa butter from 3 weeks post op but no where near my scars. this really helped my skin to strecth without causing stretch marks.

Jamie – a bed bra is a cotton crop top that has elastic around the bottom it just support them after 6 weeks as its quite hard to go from wearing a sports bra 24/7 to nothing….i use it as a lady told me and she has had hers for 5 years but they still look awesome and new.

O ta that a good idea i was worried about going from bra to nothing because when i take it off for a bath it feels so strange! x

i have not had surgery yet im going in on the 21st of jan to highgate with mr singh. i have only heard good things about him. if you send a friend req to cherrycheeks18 she had hers done on the 22 dec with mr singh at highgate and they are fab.

what size are you now? what size do you want to be? do you want the natural look?

I was Doncaster with Mr Kazazzi too, no idea about surgeons in London, sorry.

Ye, the squelching has stopped now but I can feel my implant loads – I even kinda moved it the other day, not sure that that’s normal, gonna check at my 12 week check x

hey sara11…went to my pre op today and my nurse already warned me about popping/squelching/gurgling and all sorts so you must be fine!! she said it happens loads and its what to expect! x x

ahh girls – this feeling is really annoying my now. i can feel the implant bouncing around when i am walking, it almost feels like i have impant in my bra and not in me!! only in my right boob!! my bf thinks i should ring the nurse to check its ok? x

Aww bless you hunny, im still pre op so I’ve no idea what you’re going through. If you are worried and it really is bothering you then maybe you should call her just to put your mind at ease. It’s what shes there for!! hope you’re ok darlin x x

Sara not had out like that dosent sound to worring tho i would ring your nurse as thats what you pay for and it will make you feel better. Hope everthing is ok xx

just rang her.. she said all seems fine and its just settling. she said only to worry if there, hard, hot, im not feeling etc. i did forget to mention tho that the one which feels funny had dropped a bit more than the other one?

I think she prob right they just settling chick think we will feel lots of differant things that are a bit differant as we have had something put in our body’s your pic’s look great am sure there fine xx

Sara my right boob is exactly the same, I’m 2wks post op an I can feel it move inside me wen I walk an today had warm/burning sensations now and agen, also that is the boob which has dropped the most. Think it is jst where it’s settling, fingers crossed xx

I no idea Sara when u see your surgeon tell him that’s that what it feels like! Sounds strange! The bottom of my left boob is realy tender 2day think it’s just the healing prosess xx
