post opp girls – When can I start lifting small children?

I am 9 days post opp & have 2 small children 2,5 & 5 years old.. Its so heartbraking trying to push them away when they are trying to climb up for a cuddle or when they are upset & crying & I am not able topick them up..

Whan were you able to lift small children safely? I really hope its sooner then 6 weeks…..

i no wat u mean hun i got 2 year old twins an there so used to me pickin them up but i sit down an let them climb on to my lap for a cuddle or say come sit by mummy an put a pillow next to me which they lie on an i smooth them, they get used to it thou, mine say mummy got baddy boobies they tell everyone even there teachers in creche,im 12 days po it gets easier xxx

I kno how u feel chuck, i had my ba when my daughter was just turned one and found it difficult but i cud lift after two weeks just fine. This time im havin a revision uplift and got an 18 month old son that weighs 32 pounds and is very clumbsy, plus my daughter whos now five so im dreadin how ile manage after this time. Hope you will be up and running very soon though xx
