    Hi everyone

I am 6 days post surgery and my dressings look a bit of a mess around my nipples they are quite covered in blood. I am worried that maybe it’s not normal. Did anyone have quite bloody dressings?

    Hi Emily

Did you have any implants or just the uplift?

    Hi Sarah

I had a nipple lift as well as augmentation. I was booked for a full uplift but managed to not need a full lift. I’ve had my dressings changed today, the nurse advised they were normal and are healing ok! X

That’s good to hear. Are you happy with the results?
I am 2 weeks PO from a full uplift and the T incision is having some problems healing which is annoying x

Oh no that’s annoying, are you still in dressings? I imagine it probably takes longer to heal as it’s several incisions coming together.

Yes really happy, I was quite worried about how my incisions might look a week PO. I was prepared for them looking pretty horrendous, but they looked ok! I was pleasantly surprised. Xx

    Hi Sarah.

Good thanks, I’m two weeks PO today and my dressings are off. I’m happy with them just have one a bit bigger than the other at the minute. How are you healing? Xx

Hi Emily. You are the only person I’ve found who’s had similar op to me. I had my op 25th Jan and I also had augmentation with areola reduction which is kind of similar to nipple lift. My nipples are also different sizes and they seem to be stretching😭. How are yours getting on? I’m stressing because I’ve paid an extra 2k to have my areola reduced but they are measuring the same size as before. Well my left one is 1cm smaller. I don’t know what to do x

    Hi Tasha

I did have one areola which seemed to stretch more than the other. 2 months on they have evened up a bit. I still have one areola slightly bigger than the other, but my boobs like a million times better than before!!! Xx

    Hi Emily,

Aww that’s brilliant! I’m glad they are looking better now. The reason I’m stressing is because I’ve paid loads extra to have them reduced but they are not really any smaller. Before I got them reduced they were 6cm but now one is 5cm and one is 4cm. My surgeon told me he was going to take them to 3cm but they are bigger than that which makes me feel like I’ve wasted my money ☹️. I’m only 3 weeks post op so still healing but they could stretch out even more xx

It’s hard to say really. Mine are not really any smaller, but they do look in proportion to my larger breasts. It is annoying to think you’ve spent more for them to be smaller and they are a similar size. You can say your unhappy when you see your surgeon? Xx

I’m only 4 weeks post op today so when I see my nurse at week 6 I’ll mention it then and also when I see my surgeon xx

    Hi Tasha,

    I am
In a similar boat as you, iv had my nipples reduced and put in higher position but really worried about the shape and size? Have your got any smaller yet? Have you had your 6 week nurse appointment? I only had mine done a week and 2 days ago ( breast lift with implants) i stressed so much how important the nipple size and positioning was to me but am so worried as they look so miss shapen . All the after photos i have seen are round neat nipples and mine look like they are oval and long being pulled in all
Directions! Am worried they will stay like this! Any advice from anyone would be really appreciated.
