Had vaser with Dr Kingdom on Tuesday on my stomach the whole thing went well, slept right through my op didn’t feel anything during or after. Found it quite difficult to sleep properly with this padded garment after. Anyone got any tips? Not much on this about how people feel post op. And how long it takes to go back to normal.

Hi @cloe, I had laser lipo with Dr Kingdon on my legs and I felt quite rough afterwards, took me a couple of weeks to get back to normal but your stomach should be easier recovery as long as you take it easy. Was quite hard taking it easy on the legs as you can imagine! X

I feel fine the first day was just awkward and hard to sleep as I sleep on my front but now I’m fine. Garment is a little bit big but no pain or anything, was scared researching but 2/3 days is all you need off work. I guess because it’s harder to rest the legs, are you happy with results?

Hi Chloe, I’m booked in for vaser next week on my upper and lower abs and flanks. How is the garment? I’m really worried it’ll be clearly visible under my clothes and that it’ll be really uncomfortable. Are they quite stiff to wear?xx

Good luck. It’s not that uncomfortable after you’ve worn it for a few days actually. First 1-2 days it wasn’t unpleasant but just found it really hard to sleep in a position that wasn’t putting pressure on my stomach. But 3rd night I was fine from there. You can see it, it is quite hard to hide not gonna lie. It comes up quite high at the back so kinda can look abit hunch back at times. I feel like I look pregnant but it’s probs coz I know I have it on too. I mainly wear this black dress to work that has a more fitted top and a big skirted bottom if that makes sense it’s structured and concleales most of the garment. I’m lucky I have some clothes from when I was a size 12 so they have come in handy but def will need a items a size or two up if you don’t wanna spoil your clothes. I used to wear a waist training corset to work before and my colleagues knew about that so just told them I’ve got a thicker one so they don’t ask questions lol! You’ll be fine it’s 3 weeks since my op now time flies so half way to taking it all off for good. Let me know if you have any more queries it’s not that stiff it just holds you all in. Just have to take it easy first few days move slowly but I’m fine now my nurse even said I can gym again but just slowly to start with. Good luck let me know your results. Xx

Thank you Chloe! I work in a hospital and have to wear a tunic top so I’m really hoping it will cover it all up but failing that I’ll be saying I have a waist trainer on too haha!! Are they quite thick then??x
