So once again I have been advised that my surgery will be ‘postponed’.
The first time was due to a delay on a GP letter & this time it’s due to me apparently having low platelets. I saw the nurse on the 10th October & it wasn’t until 2nd November (a week before surgery) I was then told my platelets were slightly low & so I’d need to do another blood test to see if they’d ‘gone back to normal’ so I went in yesterday & had another blood test.
My results came back THIS MORNING & I was advised that my surgery was probably gonna get postponed once again. What I’m most confused about is why it took a month for them to come back to me & tell me, which has basically left little or no time to resolve. I’ve booked time off work ONCE AGAIN.
To top it off when I call MYA I’m always being told they’ll pass it on to my PC. Who? I’ve had three different ones & hardly had any contact with any of them. When I do contact them myself I don’t get a response until a week later. Feeling really down about this all.
