Postponed my BA by 5 days, not impressed!

It just adds to my nerves! Was due in on the 10th of may and now they have moved it back to the 15th due to the hospital being over booked. Needed a rant lol.

That’s not good! I’m getting put of booking mine with Mya you keep gearing this and after sorting childcare and work etc it can’t be changed!! X

I think mya is amazing but have heard quite a few bad comments about the pcs/organization i think the communication is lacking as how can they be overbooked? unless someone had an emergency re op then they should never be over booked if they have booked everyone in correctly! mya have been amazing with me from first consultation to 7 weeks po so i cant fault them at all but a few have had bad experiences x

Where you having yours? Mine is in Preston and was on 9th and got moved to the 10th!!

Why does this keep happening,I have seen several posts like this,its soul destroying,upsetting and such a strain on the emotions,I realise that things can happen beyond MYAs control,but this should not be repeated,why is this not been resolved.Having a surgical procedure in any shape or form is an emotional roller coaster,preparing for surgery,making arrangements,childcare,time off work,for goodness sake,someone should be liaising with the clinics and hospitals to make sure this does not happen,now we realise that an odd time due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control that things can go wrong,but surely process should be put in place to stop this happening over and over,sarah248 so sorry you have had to go through this honey,big hugs,xxx

Happended to me too – got my own theory on this!!

What yours was cancelled on the 10th of may? Why is this? They told me somebody else booked before me xx

Sarah mine happended last year xx was supposed to be 7th July @ Rochdale and they changed it to 6yh July @ Preston – hence to say they did pay for the transport to and from hosp x

I can’t believe how many posts are on here about BA’s being cancelled and re-arranged so easy for them to do but they have no idea the impact it has on the patient! I’m crossing all my limbs for 22nd June. Sorry to hear of all these awful situations !!! Hugs xxx
