Pre op?

What did u girls have done at ur preop?

I literally had blood pressure n before pics taken

Seen some people have had blood taken etc? I didn’t have my date booked when I had my pre op so I’m not sure if I’ve defo had everything done I needed to? Xx

Hey hun. Thats allI had done at pre-op. Wasn’t even weighed.

Blood is only taken if there could be an under lying condition that you may have that you’ve told them about.

I did need blood to be taken and they said I could have this done at my pre op but wanted it done at my own docs and sent my surgeon the results. That way you can have it done earlier than a week before at you pre op just incase there was any problems x

Didnt you have M.R.S.A swabs done? Where did you have ur preop? Mines next week. Hope they will do more than that ive got to travel 4hrs on a train nd pay £75 to get to Bristol. Blood pain lol. Worth it though. x

I was weighed, had pix taken, blood pressure, swabs for MRSA (under armpit i think) and i got my bloods done by doc 2wk before as i tend to always be Anemic. xx

MRSA swabs? No nothin like that! I had weight, blood pressure n pics done. U sure u def don’t need to have blood taken? Xx

No you only need bloods doing maybe if your anemic, have hi protine, diabetic etc… but you reallly should have MRSA swabs i think there the most important thing because if you have MRSA it will effect healing etc… saying that i was asked about been an in patient at a hospital before the swabs were taken as i think MRSA is a hospital bug, so if you haven’t been in one or visited someone in one i dont think you would have it anyway xx

Ah that makes sense cuz one of the questions on the form was if I’d stayed in hospital recently. X

I had blood taken and i have no probs etc….maybe its because i’m older? (37)xx
