Pre op!

Hey guys!

When can you have your pre op from?? I txted my pc last week and I have got no reply!! My op not til 21st of December

i had my pre op 2 weeks before my op

I asked to have mine early as I had to have MRSA swabs done so I got mine done a month before my op, but usually it’s a few weeks before x

my pc made the appointment for me once i paid my deposit xx

Mine is 21st December to woohoo mine a welbeck hospital though. X x

I havnt heard from mine since my 1st meeting! I might try ringing her tomoz at work to book my pre-op but it would have been nice for her to reply

Alison, I have txt her once to ask a question and she did txt back but she hasn’t replyed from last week and I havnt seen her since my 1st meeting? X x f

My pre-op is just over 6 weeks ahead, its scheduled for next Thurs 17th Nov and my op is not until 4th Jan. I wanted it early as so excited xx

Wow that is early haha, I will ring her tomoz if I remember, I keep forgetting and don’t finish work til 6. X x x

If you don’t get hold of her ask to speak to the nurse directly, they booked mine in for me

Princess76 I was going to ring her personal number or do you think I should ring mya??? It might be better doing that but I don’t know the number lol x x

If you have the clinic number call them and ask to be put through to the nurse, the nurses are great, I spoke to one today and she booked me in to see surgeon, didn’t have to go through PC at all. If you don’t have number phone the MYA number and they’ll give you it x x

Yeah absolutely, makes sense, I had my op date moved forward so had to change all my appointments, the nurses were great, the pc’s are often busy so always worth asking the nurse. Another thing to bear in mind is the admission times come out about a week before, but they usually odn’t call you until a day or 2 before, but the nurse or oc can get the times for you as well, straight from the hospital. Good luck!

Thank yoou I could do with knowning mine before that to sort transport out. Think I will devo ring the nurses x x x
