pre op…

wat happens at the pre-op?

When I had my pre op I was weighed, had my blood taken (although I think this depends what procedure you’re having, I had an uplift/BA, some girls don’t have their blood taken)

The nurse went through what would happen on the day and gave me my procedure notes to take home…she advised me what to take with me on the day and that was pretty much it really…oh, and she took ‘before’ photo’s…xx

I had mrsa swabs taken,not sure if everyone does,blood was pressure taken,and all mentioned above.I was given a brochure on the hospital where I would have my procedure,emergency nurse number,and pre and post operative information,and patient information guide.xx
