Just a concern I had about post op boob size after reading that post about buying a decent bra post op. I would prefer to stay in the pretty padded bra category as the OP put it. Except with my pre op measurements I’m not sure if I will be able to. I am 30D, I actually measure 28 around my ribcage but 30D fits fine and sometimes a 32C depending on the brand. My problem is I have such a small ribcage if I add any more boob inches will I come out as one of the sizes where it’s hard to find bras (and clothes?) that fit? Like if I went up 2 or 3 cup sizes I could end up as a 30F? Can anyone help or advise if they have had BA with a similar pre-op size?

Hi hun I put that post it doesn’t mean you can’t get nice bras you absolutely can but you really need to take in to consideration that if your boobs are much bigger then so will the bra be, you can still get lovely bras but they may be a little more pricey. What size implant did you have? xxx

Hey, thanks for clarifying 🙂 I’m actually pre-op but I work in breast care and also I’m quite passionate about well fitting bras and have been for some years. So I thought your post was really good – but also I don’t want to struggle to find bras, I love underwear shopping and I don’t want to end up finding it very pricey as you say, or where I have to get specialist sizes. I’m not sure how many cups I would add to my current size, probably 2 or 3. I haven’t seen a surgeon about it yet so I guess much of that would be decided with the their advice. I’m just weighing up the pros and cons of getting it done atm and I guess potentially having a tricky post op size might put me off a bit. Or at least make me consider a smaller increase! Did you end up with quite a big cup size then?

Reading it back it does sound a little scary but trying to get all the info in while writing it can get a little challenging and like I said I didn’t want it to be a negative post but seeing it myself and seeing girls advise others to go for the bigger option normally they are really really happy they did but sometimes they aren’t which is why I wrote that, where I work we go up to a G and have lovely bras but as long as you know that this where you will likely be looking for what your going to fit and how the bra looks then I think you will be fine the price I say because I don’t know why but some shops once the bra gets bigger so does the price lol but not all places do and I’ve seen posts of girls saying they can’t get cheap bikinis etc. I would defo recommend having them done obviously if it’s what you want, what is it that your aiming to achieve from it? I’m similar to you in size but not in shape I’m probably much bigger than you lol I measaure a 30 back but I had one boob bigger than the other so 1 was like a D and the other a DD, I usually wear either a 30DD or 32D I had 325/450 to even them out and while I was researching I was working out the averages of what girls got from similar sizes so I had a better idea what I would be, I think I will be a 30F/FF or a 32E/F im only 1 week post op and I’m fine with being that size cause I work with bras and boobs all the time so I know what I will be and what I will be expecting to fit in if that makes sense lol sorry I’ve gone right in to one again haha xxxx
