hi gettin my b/a at manchester 24th nov mr alvi ,i had my pre op monday,jst read some girls note sayin her bloods were messed up???? the nurse didnt take any blood off me? she only done my blood pressure!! has all the girls who has had a pre op had blood taken???? she didnt weigh me or measure my height she jst asked me wat my stats were? she wasnt sure if i was stayin in ova night either?? wat the hell i told her i was an she said o right ! can some 1 let me no of there experiance with a pre op plz x
awww ty i was so worried thinkin wats goin on ere ha ha ,im so scared as its only couple days to go lol,an im still smokin i cant stop so stressed ,am worried thel say i cant have my op cz i smoke ill have to cut dwn xxxxxxx
hi carla f, the closer my ba got the more i smoked, i even had one on the way to the hospital!!! id promised myself id quit 2weeks b4 but it was impossible, im now 4weeks post op and havnt had a cigarette since the day of my op, i felt too ruff to have one first couple of weeks so chose it as an ideal oppertunity to give up! its much easier than its been before!!xxx
im a smoker aswell i couldnt give up i tryied but the nervse got 2 me was silly really i had a few fags on the way n wen i left i no naughty really but it hasnt done me n e harm n iv healed really well im 3 weeks post op n there looking good lol i love them
ps dont worry 2 much i was worrying like mad n iv had no pain or n e thing the only thing that got 2 me was not bin able 2 lay on my side lol honestly there is nothing 2 worry bout good luck hope x

hey they will only do bloods if there is any indication to from your past medical history. It mostly to rule out bleeding disorders/anaemia or that type of thing xx
