Pre op

Hey ladies, any idea how close the pre op is done before the actual surgery? I’m on holiday the week before I’m hoping to have my surgery done…

I had mine last night hun and my op is on wednesday xx

Ahh, well hopefully they’ll let me have it 10 days before..

im having m ine 3 days before my op.

i think that will be ok hun, i only had my initial consultation last week so its all been really fast for me…i actually booked my surgery date before my consultation xx

Hey hun i work shifts so i just rang up the girl on the desk and booked it for when suited me. I had mine 21st feb and my op aint till 23rd march. So just ring up and book it in for when suits u xxx

Hiya, I’m not having surgery until 19th April & I had my pre-op on Tuesday.

Glad I did though because they have to contact my neurologist for approval. Apparently if you’ve been under the care of a consultant in the past 2 years they need to write to them to ask that they are happy for surgery to proceed (I have a prolapsed disk in my neck).
