Pre op appointment?

Hi Girls

My ba is on 14th May, i have seen my surgeon but i was told i was meant to travel to london before my op to get checked by a nurse however my op is very soon but my coordinator still hasnt called me with a appointment can i just get checked out on the day of surgery?
