Pre-op assessment tomorrw…

Good evening ladies!

Ive got my pre-op assessment tomorrow morning & i just wondered, do they just take weight, height, blood pressure? and do they actually take blood?

Ive not had any surgery before so im not too sure what to expect.

hey me too ! Whens ur op? in 11th oct! Ive had a pre op for a hernia b4 and it was just height weight blood pressue and urine sample..duno if this one will be diff xx

ah my op is on the 10th lol not long to go now hun how excited are you? lol

im sooooooooooo excited most of the time but the closer its getting im getting quite panaky lol a bit scared now! Ive got 2 kids so thats the main reason im so nervous lol! WHat bout u, how u feeling? What u having? Im a 32 a, getting 345 or 365 unders hoping for a D xxx

lol yeah i feel the same, i am all excited and then all of a sudden i start thinking about it too much and feel sick lol

I am currently a 34a and having 380 HP unders and also hoping for around a D (well abit bigger if its at all possible but i would be happy with a D)

oh i know, im feeling sick right now lol jst cant wait till its done! Im in glasgow, having ben chew hes amazing..seen a few surgeons but he’s defo the best one i seen! jst hope i dnt chicken out lol! The waitings awful isnt it! I just read somewhere they take pics at pre op too..better get my tan on haha! where u going and who u having? xx

Ah hun, not long to go now though. Ive heard lots of good things about ben chew! you will be in safe hands

lol uh oh pics of my white pancakes is not good! lol i go to florida on friday so i will have a little tan just in time for my new boobs. haha

ive heard good things about russo too i know, the only thing that can make my boobs look worse is no tan lol! well enjoy florida and the sun..and let me kno how u get on if i dnt speak to u b4 the big day! xx

hi, you’re right, heigh weight blood pressure and lots of q’s, then pre op pics. No blood samples taken. Then you get lots of bits of paper telling you what you can and can’t do before the op and after, I had to write stuff down for some of it. Pre-op is a doddle, you’ll be fine x

hiya, i did have to have blood tests but thats only because i have been anaemic before, they don’t usually take bloods though they said so you will be fine. xx
