Pre Op at the weekend?

Hi, does anyone know if you can have your pre op over the weekend? I’ve got limited leave so I want to use this after my BA and idealy not have to take time off for my pre op!!! I have tried emailing my patient coordinator but she never gets back to me!!!

What is a pre op and what happens hun? On my first ba I went straight in for the op after my consultation x

not sure about preops Hun but I had trouble after my ba and went to see the nurse on a Saturday, just rang up and she said come straight in so she must have been working xx

Ok I might have it worng but I think you have to go for the pre op consultation with a nurse about a week before the op? Last time I had a general anesthetic I had to have this about 1 or 2 weeks before? I might be worng, but if I do have to go before the op I hope I can go over the weekend!!!

I had my pre op on a sat as was working mon-fri…..I had it about 2 mths before my BA though as I booked way in advance. My nurse said she works occasionally weekend and managed to fit me in, that was in the Cardiff clinic. xx

I had my ba just over 6 weeks ago, best thing ever! I had my pre op about 2 months before my op, not sure why I had mine so early cos everyone else seems to be in a week before their op or so! xx

yes hun, i’m 23 days post op….had 525cc high profile overs with Mr.Singh at highgate. I can honestly say it is one of the best decisions I have ever made…Mr.Singh is a fab surgeon and I am so happy with the results. Whens your BA booked for? xx

It’s not booked yet, I’m seeing Dr Marion Grob on Thursday for my consultation, but she gave me a date for 14th Novemeber if I want to go ahead, so fingers crossed I’ll get everything booked next week!!! Do you know what cup size you are now alilou? Also I know it seems silly to plan so far ahead as my BA isn’t even booked yet but if I get the 14th with Dr Grob 3 weeks after this is my husbands 30th, do you think 3 weeks post op I’ll be up for going out/partying?

i had my pre op about a week before, i had mine at night due to work so u could try that. I’m hoping that i will be alright to go out for my 21st it works out 4 weeks after my op so fingers crossed, ill let u know cos its before ur op date xx

Thanks smith89, is your pre op in London? When are you having your BA?

no i had mine in manchester i had my BA on wednesday all is good so far im so happy with them ive got little pain and swelling and no brusing, they look so natural which im happy about i was worried they would look really fake and stuck on but they are far from that, what size are u hoping to go for xx
