Pre-op Done 2 weeks count down now!!! Im so excited, nervous, scared, excited…

Hi girls,

I had my pre-op done today. Height, weight, blood pressure, loads of questions and my before pic taken!

I have been told to stop taking the pill from today, i asked when i could start taking it again and the nurse said she did not know and to ask my GP???????

She said I will be advised of my admission time 2 days before the op, I think thats when this whole thing will really hit me.

Im so worried that im going to chicken out or that something is going to go wrong, I have not even bought any clothes for after the op as i dont want to jinks anything.

I think i have purchased everything i need for the op now:

V pillow

Macom Bra

Throat sweets

Arnica tablets

Laxatives

Zip up top and tracci bottoms

I have been applying bio oil twice a day

given up pill 2 weeks before

given up smoking 2 weeks before

Pray for good boobs after the op!!!!!

Hmm think thats just about everything, if I have missed anything please let me know.

Is anyone else in at Highgate on the 21st Jan? I could do with a Boobie Buddy.

You sound all set to go… nice and organised – just what I was like! lol

You will be fine babe…. you will have thoughts about chickening out… I did… but then you remembe WHY you want it done… and that moment soon passes.

I recall sitting on the hospital bed pinching myself.. couldnt believe i was actually doing it. Still have moments now where I cant believe i went through with it.

Best thing i did…. I promise ya!

Oh, and I didnt need to stop taking my pill. Mu surgeon doesnt see the point is stopping it. I know a number of girls that have stopped 2 weeks before and are OK to take it again 2 weeks after.

Instead of asking your GP (which I think is wrong!) I would ask your surgeon on the day babe xxxx
