Pre-op left me a bit scared!

Hi All

I had my pre op recently at MYA in London and Its left me a bit sort of ooh er! I am not queasy or shy or anything but the nurse was late for me, then she couldn’t find anything to clean my arm with for my bloods (she did in the end though) then she couldn’t draw blood from one arm then the other. I admitedly did ask her to try again cos I’m pretty solid and tough but the blood missed the bottle and spurted all down my arm onto the bed and my hand!She couldn’t get any so I have to go to my GP I’m left with a massive bruise and blood all under my skin Just all felt not professional and a boob job and uplift is scary enough- let alone the pre op going tits up (excuse the pun!)… I’m booked in Jan 11th for uplift and enlargement 340cc overs high profile with Mr Chantarsak .Arg- help shall I do it… or is it fate they can’t get my blood… pickle….

Everything will be fine, even people (phlebotomists) who take blood all day every day still have the odd person they struggle with – as for her being late, that’s obviously something that could be improved but sometimes these things happen, maybe the person before you was late??

I’m sure you’d have no problems once ready for the op – MYA have been fab for me xx

hi grimleycat dont b put off by that even thou it does swnd lyk a bad impression on MYA, i went to cardiff an my nurse was lovely. just remember it wont b her doin ur op anyway lol, iv got dr Chantrasak on tuesday for my BA an he is very professional so u dont need to worry about him! he is very quiet thou an does seem a bit nervous bt i hav spoke to many whov had him an hev done a gr8 job an he is well knw for his small neat scars il let u knw how i get on after tuesday ok xx
