Pre-op medical???

Hi girls, I was wondering what the preop medical involved??? x

Hey linzi, the nurse will ask medical questions such as are you alergic to anything, do you have any heart conditions/diabetes, have you been in hosp in last six months etc, mine was pretty easy because I’m pretty much healthy (so I didn’t ave to have any blood tests or anything – I’d syked myself up for it just in case so my blood pressure was a little high when she did that). Then the nurse takes your “before” photos and runs through everything you should avoid before the op – and gives you the info you need for after the op. And if you hve any questions you can ask her as well. Pretty easy to be honest – nothing to worry about xx

Hey linzi, I had my pre-op medical last week, all it involves basically is that the nurse will go through medical history again, do’s and don’ts (pre-op and post op), she’ll take your weight and height and take pre-op before pictures. It only last about half hour and you’ll get to ask more questions if you wish. You’ll be given a pack too full of information to take away with you, including who to contact in an emergency after op. Also the nurse will make an appointment for your next visit after op (one week after). Hope this helps honey, when’s your op? xxx

Thanks girls! Great, the before op picture! Cant wait to do that- not! My op is on 2nd Feb with Mr Adamo. Im having 410cc overs!! I want to be a dd and was worrying that I might be too big with the 410’ss but I have to trust him! When is yours michelle? xx

Oh I forgot about blood pressure, cheers gemma! Wow you must be so excited linzi! If you’re still not sure of size arrange to see surgeon again before op honey, my appointment is 20th Jan with MR T, seeing him evening before to go through everything again. Having uplift and 300cc mod/high profile implants…getting bit nervous now! xxx

I really wanted mr Traynor as Id read so much about him although I live in Northampton so Manchester would be way to far to travel. London is my nearest so I have chosen Mr Adamo who Ive also heard lots of good about. It is very nerve wracking but I think excitement has taken over now! Everyday I put my post op bra on over the top of my wonderbra 2 cup size boost bra with another padded one over that and I just love the way it looks! I know on the day I will completely freak out but I wont chicken out as I know how much I really want it!

Hey you’ve not got long either hey! You’ll be having your op few days before I go back to work (booked two weeks off)! Yes I’m counting the days now, stomach is doing flip flops everytime I think about it lol… I’m more nervous about the uplift than the implants (and scars) and I’m hoping there’s not complications etc. But I’ve heard lots of good things about Mr T so that’s eased my nerves a bit. I’ve heard lots of good things about Mr Adamo too. I’ll request you as a friend honey so oyu can see my pre/post-op picts. All the best honey xxx
