    Hey ladies

Just wondering who had MRSA swabs done at their pre op assessment? They stick a cotton bud type thing up your nose, your armpits and groin.

    Anyone had this done? X

My first op in June 2011, I didn’t have them done. I’ve just been informed it became compulsory around 5 months ago. My pre op last week, I didn’t have them done. My re op was supposed to be yesterday but got informed on Sunday the op could not go ahead because the results were inconclusive.

I thought maybe I had it done at pre op and not realised, but having been back to clinic yesterday to have them done ‘again’ I realised id never had them done before. It’s not something you’d forget, ie dropping your pants n having cotton buds placed on your groin. I’m 100% sure I’ve never had this done before so how on earth can I have inconclusive results?! X
