Pre Op Nurse Check…

I’m pre op still awaiting my date and seeing the nurse on friday as its the only avaliable date i can be off work. What sort of things will she do, say etc?? Just so i know kind of what to expect..

She will check you weight, take pics of your pre op boobs, take some blood, if you’ve been in hospital in the last 3 months do some MRSA swabs, go through your health forms you completed at the beginning, tell you a bit about the hospital and what will happen and book in your post op 1 week check xxx

Hey geordie I was the same, didn’t really know what to expect but all it really was was a chat about ur health, what not to have before ur op, take ur weight and pre op pics and that was it x
