hi girls i have my first appointment tomorrow, hoping to get BA in december.. my biggest concern is in next 4 yrs its likely i will have children and breast feed etc.. im hoping to go from a B to a c/d. can someone tell me if they have had children after boobs and let me know if they sag, drop and need done again after? thanks
i want to no this too, my pc told me not to get pregnant in the 1st year and she personally recommended waiting at least 5years, but i dont want to wait that long x
hi vicky, i dont think i would be in the next yr. but defo within the next 3-4 if everything goes to plan as getting married early 2012. it is the only thing holding me back, i dont want to pay £4000 then in 5 yrs time need them done again. saying that i dont want them done after children as i think my priorities would have changed by then x
Hi Ladies,
im not an expert but alot of women have had there boobs re-done after having babys… i wouldnt get your hopes up about breast feeding either as having a BA can prevent that :0( so if thats something you think is important… it may be an issue. iv heard the main reason women have a 2nd BA after pregnancy is because, during pregnancy your boobs get bigger, when they go back to there original size, women normally arent happy, so go bigger xxx
if i couldnt breast feed i wouldnt mind bottle so thats not a big issue. im just not sure i want them done if they need re done in 5 yrs time.. such a hard decision x
Hi there, i had my ba last year sept 2009, and i really want another baby next year, so they will probably drop a little. Bit i dont mind, as they will never be as awful as they were before. I used to have empty sacks of skin, so surely after after a 3rd baby they wont end up like this again. My friend has just had a baby and shes got her boobs done, and her look fine!!. they have stayed in the same place. However, i do think they having unders is more of a prob, as some girls end up with double bubble. But 2 of my mates who have had overs, and had a baby after theres are fine. I bloody hope so, cos i am def having another baby, if my ba gets ruined then so be it! ill just have to save and get them re done ! X
thank janeyh, i dont have children at the moment but would like them in next 3-5 yrs. im worried that afrer 2 kids im def gonna need them done again x
Hi Girls – I had my BA 13 years ago and had my first baby 2.5 years ago, my boobs increased from a 32dd to a 32E/F whilst I was pregnant, and I was able to breastfeed with no complications. My boobs went back to their pre-pregnancy size BUT sadly I got CC around my right implant a few months after stopping BFing….a combination of pregnancy/breastfeeding and OLD implants!!!
After the birth of my daughter earlier this year and successful BFing (even with the CC) my boobs didn’t quite go back to the nice full 32dd and the CC has got worse hence the re-op at the end of this month.
We’ve decided to not have anymore children so that is why I am going for the re-op now BUT I do know ladies who had babies/breastfed with-in a few years of their original BA and they had no problems whatsoever! I think it is possibly better to do it sooner rather than later but waiting a year after a BA is advisable!!
I know someone who has a BA and breast-fed perfectly fine!
U’ll gonna need then re-done at some stage anyway, and having a baby might make them not as pert as they were b4, but probably doesn’t affect it too much!
xx
