Goodness, this BA is costing me a fortune!
New clothes (cos im assuming my old tops wont fit anymore), stuff for hospital (ladies always want new pj’s and slippers), sports bra’s, new underwear once i know my size, holiday cos i want to show them off, ha ha. The list goes on….

Staceyp83 – he told me i needed to put on weight and stop running, think he wants to fatten me up cos i need to have overs (think they might look a bit false).
I bet i talk his head off before my op, making sure im doing the right thing.

i only cant have a shower because one of my scars is a bit irritated and red so the nurse put a dressing on until monday then i can shower, yes a shallow bath is fine i had 380cc unders and he does come and see you before your op i had a choice of two sizes so he discussed this just before and asked which i was happy to have and put across what he recommended been right for me i was more for the 340cc as i didnt want to be too big just wanted the natural look but went with the 380cc as he said they would be the best for me i went with his advice and it was definately the right choice they are just right and exactly the result i wanted your in good hands if you have any worries just talk to him about them xxxx

    Menu

How long do you have to stay out the shower for?
Can you have a shallow bath instead?
What size did he give you? I’m going for 300cc overs.
Does he ask if you have changed your mind on size before the op?
    Xx

    Cheers ladies
I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t been told about this forum. The advise and stories are a godsend.
3 different size bra’s ha ha, that might be a good call.

I have a two year old girl, worries me I won’t be able to do everything with her, I bet I bloody cry every day!

    Hi,

another couple of things worth taking – wet wipes (really handy for freshening yourself up) and camera (for your before and after shots)

Also, i took 3 different sized sports bras as its difficult to predict the size you’ll end up.

    Good luck :-) xx

you will be fine and wondering what you were worried for as soon as its over, i was worried about lookin too big and silly but the sergeons are great at advising sizes and knowing what will suit your frame your in good hands and wont look silly good luck june will soon be here : ) xxx

Dry Shampoo is a must have as well as spray on deodrant as it’s easier than roll on’s. It’s really hard shaving your pits afterwords as well so you might want to get them waxed then at least they last a bit longer.

Prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions and pain as I think that we all think we will be fine but it is a big op and no one prepares you for after the op!

You sound just like me lol!! I’m worrying about everything as well already, just don’t know what size i’m really going to end up!! Its scary but very exciting. Only just under 9 weeks now hun :o) Yay!! xx

    Menu

My god, slippers and dressing gown! I totally forgot those.
I won’t bother with the calms, not worth the hastle. Suppose mags will take my mind off the operation.
I’m scared but excited at the same time. I think is because of the unknown (not knowing defo how big you will be and incase I look silly).
As you can probably tell, I’m a worrier.
    Thanks for your help girls.

    Menu

Hi hunny, you can’t have calm’s before your op. Your so organised lol.
Take care, June will be here before you know it :-) x x x x

check about the calms…they prob wont want you taking them pre op….cos you have to stop multi vitamins and anything else herbal x
would also pack some wipes just to give yourself a clean cos you won’t be able to be splashing about in the basin etc.

    Menu

slippers to walk to theatre in and a dressing gown aw your theatre gown is open at the back lol xxx
