Preston First Trust

Hi Girls,
There are major road works around the First Trust Hospital which are going on until 2018!! The road is completely blocked off from Garstang road A6! So you have to go all the way round to the other side of the road Via the B6241. I would suggest adding an extra half an hour on to your travel time due to traffic as the traffic is quite bad around the area. Sat navs bring you to the side of the road that is closed! I have found that “WAZE” which is a navigation app which you can download on your phone has the correct side to enter D’Urton Lane without it taking you to the closed end. I have also attached a copy of some road directions. I hope this helps you! xxx

No Problem at all! It’s a nightmare around there with the closure of the road. So use the map too it helps a lot when taking off the Motorway at J32 make sure you take the A6 to Preston not A6 to garstang as that’s where the closure is 🙂 xxx
