Has anyone had their ba done at this clinic this is the closest one to me and I have been reading on here that they are not very good at the aftercare and that they kind of leave you hanging after they have taken your money is this true?? Any info on them would be great off to meet a women tomorrow to find out more info but personal experiences would be worth more to me and I’m guessing more impartial :)

Hiya ellestar12, I’m 8 wks post op and have mixed feelings about the Newcastle clinic. My pc didn’t contact me again after payment was made and I was assured she’d give me a call before my surgery but never did or has since. However, the receptionist Angela and nurse Terri more than made up for that. Really approachable and friendly, as was the on call nurse who called me at home the day after the surgery.
I didn’t have a problem with the clinic as such as the other staff were great, but I do think the pc could have been a tad more supportive, even a call to say good luck would have been something, if in doubt speak to the other staff. My ba went fine, healing good and totally ecstatic with the results!
Good luck and let us know how you get on xxx

    Hi

I’ve also go mixed feelings about Newcastle. The pc was off having a proceedure done when I first went for a consultations so saw Bianca, who was really, really lovely and reassured me loads, but she’s not really a pc. Since then I’ve been back in for a surgeon consultation and the pc was there, but hardly acknowledged me. I asked for her to call me the next day, but didn’t so ended up going back to Bianca who was very helpful again. But I have booked my ba as I was happy with Mr Traynor, and I guess that’s the important thing! Roll on April! :-)

    Hiya,

I went with the Newcastle clinic found Lisha my PC lovely, nurse Terri very friendly down to earth and receptionist ang very good, no probs apart from cancelling my po op appointment with nurse yesterday to tomorrow as nurse went of sick. I guess thats out of their control and they did advise me 6 hours in advance so didnt have a wasted journey.
I’m 8 days post op now and to be honest the main thing is the surgeon, i had Gary Traynor who is great and the staff and care at Manchester lifestyle are amazing, which is the main thing, good luck xx
