Question for nipple lift girls

Hi girls I’m 10 days post op after having ba and nipple lift. I’ve had my one week check up and my nurse said all was well but I am slightly worried that one nipple us healing great and the other is all black and yellow with bruising it looks so ugly and bruising has spread further round my breast. There’s no pain and my nipple is completely numb on this side.

Anyone else suffering from bad bruising and healing? I’ll add a pic to show difference so u can see what I mean xxx

Hi hun, I had a nip lift too and I feel your pain, trust me! Have you seen my new pics I added today? Have a look, mine are covered, horrid green/yellow bruises. Have a look coz that should let you no your not alone!

Also, your asymmetry has levelled out brilliantly, you must be so pleased xx

thanks gina i am so happy with shape and size its just all the yellow/black on my areola and breast thats awful ive just added a couple of close ups – not pretty lol.

i know its still early days but i must admit i was shocked when the nurse removed the bandages. i have to go back and see nurse on tues cos she wants to keep an eye on bruising and make sure i am healing ok.

Really? She was concerned with your bruising? I went for my first appointment post op last week and my nurse didn’t seem concerned with the bruising, she just said it was normal. But she did say I’d have to go back in another week as that was procedure with nipple lifts as there’s more chance of problems in the healing around the nipples! And thanks hun, I am happy overall, just nervous to see my nipple insicions as I don’t want uneven mis shaped areolas but they can’t look any worse than they did pre op lol. I’m also feeling a little down about the size of them too, was expecting them to look bigger but I’ll have to be patient being as unders take longer to settle, we’ll get there eventally with our boobies, each day is another day closer I guess xx

nurse said she wanted me back in a bit earlier to check as i bled quite a lot during and after the op from my left whereas my right was fine. i dont think she is worried but just wants to make sure it is healing properly

i think yours are a great size but they will get a bit bigger, mine will probably shrink a bit as i had overs xx

Ok, well that makes sense then if you had a bit more bleeding, better to be safe! And even if yours do shrink a little, they’ll still look fab I reckon, coz you had a nice size to begin with. I’m praying mine grow some more soon lol. Think we just stress over anything, it’s normal, we’ve paid so much money and we just want perfect boobies lol! This time next month we’ll hopefully be looking back at these posts and laughing coz we’ll have our perfect boobies by then Lol xx
