quick question

Hey ladies!x i was just wondering i had my dressings off today and just have the little steristrips on now and my nurse said i can now have a shower but then my boobie buddys nurse has said she cant yet because if you wash your hair and wash the bacteria can cause infection if its runs over steristrips and having only just found this out i have already hada shower and washed hair sooooo im a little worried now! Can any1 help?xxx

you will be fine, i waited 17 days for a shower and asked the nurse this question, and she said its fine, just make sure you dry the area with a hair dryer on low heat, and that you are all fully rinsed before you get out the shower, using something similar to sanex or it as a body wash xx
