Quick question girls, is it compulsory you don’t drink before your op? Mines on Wednesday but I’m sooo close to just buying tickets for laid back Luke at gatecrasher tonight, but obviously I won’t go if I really can’t drink xx

I have just posted something similar. I can’t not drink at my event as my friend has had her wedding booked for 3 years and she’ll kill me if Im a party pooper!

i had my op on tuesday and went out the saturday before so im sure your be fine :)x

i drank 4 days before! they say its compuslory 48 hours before to stop babe! X

Its really not advisable cos your immune system is lowered from processing the chemicals in the alcohol and could make you more suseptable to infection, you have to ask yourself is it worth the risk? Personally I dont drink for training purposes cos it was affecting my performance and I have been alcohol free for over a year. I still have a great time when I go out without alcohol and I just drink water or diet coke and nobody has to know that you havent got a vodka in it!!

I guess your right I might just go soba n see how it is…ha hate being the only one who’s not drunk tho lol xx

I had my op yesterday and I was advised to not drink 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after!!! It’s killing me lol x

Aha ya don’t realise how much you actually drink until your told not to do you aha bad times! It’s my 21st 13 days free op so reckon I may end up breaking the rules xx

Apparently te alcohol thins your blood which is dangerous for an op thats what i been told anyways xxx

Hiya, I had my op today, had a spritzer on Wednesday but had quite a heavy weekend previously, so far everything is fine, really tempted to have a glass of red now though! Really ought to be sensible though xx
