random I no but why do uk PS use silicon over saline implants?

My friends over in LA at moment having her boobs done but found it hard find silicon yet over hear easy? Anyone no why? X

Its all of Europe that doesn’t use saline any more according to my surgeon. Silicone is safer appaerently…

When I asked if they would use silicone or saline, he laughed at me and said “no no no saline is not used anymore in europe dont be silly i would never use saline implats” ? Lol xx

Its weird isn’t it because if you look online its safe and I would of thought Americans being so scared of being sued and everything wouldn’t use them? Because she’s have like 1000cc and I was in shock how on earth they would get that in her lil body but she said because obviously its not a made implant they can pump it up in her and under muscle? Ouch come to mind x

Ive read about the saline becoming contaminated with air somehow and leading to fungus and a black implant which if it then leaks can make you really ill. Dont know if this is why they don’t use them though
